A Broadmoor resident is planning to deliver food and other goods to the Lake Charles area for storm victims.
Rickey Kidder started his food drive to help families that have been displaced or lost their homes due to Hurricane Laura. After the storm hit, Kidder got overwhelmed with donations.
Kidder is now using his Facebook page not only to collect food but to raise money to buy other items to give to victims.
Donations will go to temporary housing and living expenses, and expenses for medications, gas, food, ice, generators and household supplies.
