Lafayette Police have arrested a local man in connection with the March 12 shooting on St. Antoine Street.
Marquies Jones, 18, was booked yesterday with attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of weapons, jail records show.
The shooting happened in the parking lot of a convenience store at 11 a.m. on a Thursday.
At the time, police said the victim had non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
