A Lafayette man has been booked with several charges, accused of holding his ex for days against her will and beating her.

Keone Lindon, 23, was booked with false imprisonment and aggravated battery with a weapon. He's still in jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Police say he was arrested after a caller reported that a woman had been held against her will and beaten. Officers say she was Lindon's ex-girlfriend, and allege he held her captive for several days, beating her with an extension cord. Officers say the victim had burises, bleeding and swelling on the majority of her body.

Lindon was arrested last week, records show.
