Lafayette deputies searching for 16-year-old runaway

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating a 16-year-old runaway.

Deputies say Junior Edwardo Rios, 16, of Carencro left his home on July 26, 2020.

He was last seen wearing dark pants, a dark shirt, a red and black sweatshirt and a red ball cap.

Detectives believe that Rios could be in the Scott area.

He is described as having brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyon who see Rios, or has any information on his whereabouts, is asked to contact the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 232-9211, Crime Stoppers at (337) 232-TIPS(8477) or submit a tip on the Lafayette Sheriff App.
