Every day, people in our community are celebrating milestones without the usual gatherings because of the pandemic.
One of those milestones is marked today, as it is the 62nd wedding anniversary of Jim and Vivian Jeanmard.
Their daughter, Michelle Jeanmard, told us that her dad is a retired teacher and band director, and also was a relator, retired from Van Eaton and Romero. Her mom is a retired secretary, and also the retired social director of St. mary Church.
The Jeanmards have two children, several grand children and many great grandchildren, Michelle tells us.
"To have maintained a marriage of so many years in this day and age is remarkable but what is even more amazing is that Vivian's three siblings all saw their 50th and 60th Wedding Anniversaries and Jim's only brother also saw his 50th and 60th Wedding anniversaries," Michelle says. "Truly perfect examples of what a wedding vow really means."
She also sent us photos of her parents on their wedding day, and a recent one as well.
