One of Republic Services' youngest customers and fans, four-year old Thomas loves watching every week for his driver when he shows up in the "Big Blue Garbage Truck" to service his family's home in Lafayette.
For Thomas's 4th birthday, his mother coordinated with Republic Services' local Lafayette team to surprise him at his birthday party.
It was a big surprise - and big success for Thomas and his family and friends.
Thomas and all of his friends were speechless as they watched the garbage truck pull up to his home, according to a spokesperson for Republic.
Thomas and his friends took turns sitting inside of the garbage truck, and they also had front row seats to watch his driver take away the garbage form his home.
