On November 14, the Kiwanis Club of Broussard/ Youngsville will hold a Thanksgiving food drive to help families in need.
The drive will take place from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the MC Bank located at 2480 Youngsville Hwy.
Several items are being collected as part of the drive.
Some items needed are:
- unexpired canned goods
- breakfast cereals
- shelf stable milk
- flour
- rice
- grits
- cooking oil
- healthy snacks
- dried fruits
- paper products
- toiletries
- cleaning products
Organizers hope all who are able to assist do so.
"We would love to see you," said Lacie Billiot, President of the Kiwanis Club of Broussard/Youngsville. "We know that everyone has a heart for giving in Acadiana, especially in the Youngsville/Broussard area, and we really just want to come together and make sure everyone has a good Thanksgiving."
