Residents of the Marie Antoinette and Leisure Lane area may have seen some police activity last night.
Lafayette Police say they arrested five juveniles who allegedly were caught breaking into unlocked vehicles in the area.
The five juveniles were cited and released to the custody of their parents.
A patrol officer in the area saw the kids looking in a vehicle, then close the doors quietly and walk away from it. He followed them, called for back-up and all five were apprehended, a spokesman said.
