LAFAYETTE, La - J. Wallace James Elementary in Lafayette is hosting a parent symposium on Saturday.
The event is from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
It's free and will focus on promoting the educational and emotional well-being of all students and parents.
"And something we've noticed in our first year here, even though it's just September, is what family we have here at J. Wallace James," said Jon Down, principal. "This is just another example of what our students and families are exposed to and we want to extend that support to the whole community."
