LAFAYETTE, La. — The Lafayette Police Department are responding to an inmate escaping from the Lafayette Parish Juvenile Detention Home.
An LPD spokesperson has said that police are still working the scene at the facility located on Surrey Street. As of 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, the juvenile still hadn't been located.
