State Police say that traffic volume continues to be heavy westbound on I-10 to Lake Charles from the Acadiana area.
Troopers have responded to several crashes over the past several days involving vehicles following too close and drivers being inattentive, they say.
Motorists are reminded to monitor traffic several seconds ahead and leave a reactionary gap between you and the vehicle in front of your vehicle.
