On Wednesday morning, the owners of Hot Food Express in Lafayette say their business was burglarized.

Photos and video posted to their Facebook page show two doors to the business smashed in along with a prize machine located at the entrance of the restaurant.

The machine, according to the owners, collects donations that go toward helping St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the St. Joseph Homeless Shelter for Men on St. John Street.

The business was reportedly burglarized around 4 am on June 24.

In their post, the owners say they hope that someone can identify the thieves so they, "don't do it to any other mom and pop shops."
