Police and family are searching for a missing 67-year-old Mire man.

Family says Jacob Pitts has dementia and other health serious issues and was discharged from UHC in Lafayette at 6:00 pm Wednesday.

They didn't know he was discharged until this morning when they went to the hospital.

He is wearing bloody pants and a green PHI fishing tournament T-shirt (the same green shirt pictured).

He has no wallet, phone, transportation or identification.

His daughter, Hollie Pitts Trahan can be reached at 337-322-3770 if you need any additional information.
