Help needed identifying suspect accused of stealing multiple catalytic converters

Lafayette Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect.

On November 7, 2020, at approximately midnight, a suspect entered the parking lot of 2017 West Pinhook Road in an older model Tan Grand Marquis. According to police, the suspect then proceeded underneath the victim’s vehicle, and removed the catalytic converter utilizing a handheld torch. The suspect then fled the scene.

The suspect may be in possession of several catalytic converters as there were multiple vehicles in the parking with missing catalytic converters, according to investigators.

If anyone has any information or can offer any assistance, you are urged to contact the Lafayette Police Department or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at (337) 232-TIPS or by submitting your tip by using the P3 Tips Mobile App. All callers remain anonymous and can earn up to $1,000 cash reward.
