The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office (LPSO) is asking for help from the public to identify a burglary suspect.

On December 11, 2020, deputies with LPSO responded to several vehicle burglaries on Camus Drive.

During one of the burglaries, a black Smith & Wesson handgun was stolen, according to a spokesperson for LPSO.

Video surveillance shows a single subject in the area during the time of the burglaries, seen wearing dark colored pants, a zippered jacket with single stripes on the arms and a baseball cap.

If you recognize the person in the video, or have any other information regarding this case, call the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office at (337) 232-9211, Crime Stoppers at (337) 232-TIPS(8477) or submit a tip on the Lafayette Sheriff App.
