Healing House; Hope for Grieving Children has announced the artist for their Martinis 2020 - Lafayette Best Martini event.
Officials named Lauren Sibley Brasseaux as the “Martinis 2020- Lafayette’s Best Martini” Glass Artist. On July 8 at the Mercedes Benz of Lafayette’s Showroom a private event will be held to unveil Lauren’s martini glass creation.
Lauren Sibley Brasseaux is a2 009 graduate of St. Thomas More High School and a 2013 graduate of Louisiana State University. Lauren began Sibley Designs in 2014, a fine arts gallery and studio in Lafayette’s historic Oil Center. This local shop houses her paintings, custom stationery, and hand-painted gifts.
Lauren lives in Lafayette with her husband, Trent, and son, Peter.
Presented by Three Olives Vodka, the tour kicks off Monday, July 20, 2020.
Restaurants in Lafayette will showcase their best martini creations as a benefit for Healing House; Hope for Grieving Children. Each week beginning July 20 and running through August 15, the public is asked to join in on taste tests at two featured restaurant.
Guests will receive a $2.00 signature Martini with the purchase of an entrée at each of the week’s highlighted tour stops. Proceeds from each Martini purchased are donated directly to benefit Healing House.
Officials say that this year’s Gala can be enjoyed from the comfort of home.
All proceeds from Martinis 2020 will benefit local families in Acadiana that have experienced the death of a parent or sibling. Healing House; Hope for Grieving Children provides grief support groups for over 200 children in an atmosphere where they are allowed to express their grief though interactive play, expressive art work and discussion groups with peers experiencing the same trauma.
