LAFAYETTE, La. — The Handy Stop Market & Café announced on Friday that it will serve as a pickup location for $30 boxes of fresh mixed vegetables from Cove Rise Farms on Monday, April 13 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. in Downtown Lafayette.

According to a release from the market, its owner Bradley Cruice says he wants to provide Lafayette residents with fresh produce while following safety recommendations in an effort to limit grocery store visits and continue supporting local businesses.

Upon arrival, customers will have their boxes loaded into their vehicles to avoid close contact with others, the release states. Each box will be $30 and can be purchased with cash or through the Venmo app.

The Handy Stop Market & Café is located at 444 Jefferson St. in Lafayette. For more details, visit the Handy Stop Market & Café Facebook page.
