Hand Up Thrift is celebrating its 9th anniversary today by hosting a Customer Appreciation Day from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The organization focuses on giving back to local non-profits. Their missions are Family Promise of Acadiana, Affiliated Blind of LA, and Transportation Recreational Alternatives in LA (TRAIL).
HUT also employs those with disabilities and was the recipient of the 2018 Governor's Outstanding Leadership in Disabilities Award (GOLD) as Employer of the Year.
The celebration will include door prizes throughout the day and free refreshments and food with your HUT purchase.
There will also be a "Spin the Wheel" for additional discounts.
