LAFAYETTE, La.- The H&M store opening in the Acadiana Mall in November, will host an Open House/Hiring event on Wednesday, October 9. The event will take place 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the old GAP location in Acadiana Mall, 5725 Johnston Street in Lafayette.
Hiring managers are looking for full-time sales advisors, part-time sales advisors, and part-time seasonal sales advisors. Interviews will be conducted on site. Bring a copy of your resume or work history to complete the employment application.
"Large, popular stores such as H&M will undoubtedly attract shoppers to the mall especially during the busy holiday shopping season," says Gregg Gothreaux, President and CEO of the Lafayette Economic Development Authority. "More than 2,500 people are employed at the Acadiana Mall and its stores, and the retail sector employs 27,000 people in the region. LEDA will continue to work with the mall's management and owners to bring in retailers and lifestyle companies to complement our retail and entertainment sector."
