LAFAYETTE, La. - Lafayette Consolidated Government's Public Works Department broke ground Tuesday morning to widen and extend Kaliste Saloom Road.
The existing two-lane asphalt road will be widened to a five-lane road with a two-way center turning lane and increase traffic capacity for the developing area.
The project will commence August 12, 2019 and will span a minimum of three years.
