Friday November 1, is All Saints Day which commemorates all the saints of the church both known and unknown.
As a part of the day, graves are blessed annually at cemeteries around the world and here at home in Acadiana.
Today, Fountain Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery in Lafayette held their annual All Saints' Day Service and Blessing. Graves at the cemetery were blessed at 9:00 a.m. That ceremony which featured a service at their chapel was open to the public.
