LAFAYETTE, La. - Impact Acadiana's annual fundraiser for UL's David Trosclair Memorial Scholarships in Kinesiology is under way.
The scholarships honor the memory of former UL student David Trosclair, a rising star in the School of Kinesiology department, who passed away suddenly in 2010.
Each year from Sept. 1 to Nov. 19, Impact Acadiana sells $10 raffle tickets to win a Caribbean Cruise for two from Travel Machine. Every ticket comes with a free thank-you gift:
During September, tickets are redeemable at any Todd's Car Wash location for a free Car Wash or at Judice Inn on Johnston Street for a free hamburger or cheeseburger.
During October, tickets are redeemable any Tropical Smoothie Café location for a free Flatbread of choice or at both Reve Coffee Roasters locations for a free coffee or tea and homemade biscotti.
From November 1 until Nov. 19 - when Kermit Duhon of Travel Machine pulls the winning ticket - tickets are also redeemable at Roly Poly, 1004 Coolidge Blvd, for a free 6" Sandwich of choice or at Great Harvest Bread Co., 854 Kaliste Saloom Rd., for a free loaf of Cinnamon Burst Extreme Bread, or a free loaf of Chocolate Brownie Bread.
