Friends of the Library is making what might seem like a strange request, but these are strange times.
Some folks are still donating their books in the bins outside the library's warehouse on Pinhook Road.
The problem is, the Friends can't bring the books into the warehouse, because it is closed to them because of the pandemic.
So, they are asking the public not to donate until the libraries are open again. The Friends can't go into the warehouse, and the library staff aren't available either, because the libraries have been closed by LCG.
They're asking residents to hold on to their books, because they will need the donations when things are opened up again.
