On Monday, Fountain Memorial held an All Souls Day service and blessing.
The service began at 9:00 am on Monday November 2, 2020 with a blessing of graves at the Fountain Memorial Cemetery.
All Souls' Day, which is celebrated after All Saints Day commemorates and remembers those who have passed on.
On Monday Evening, the Diocese of Lafayette will celebrate All Souls' Day with a Mass beginning at 5:30 pm in The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
Following that Mass, there will be a burial service for unclaimed souls in St. Johns Cemetery. To read more click here.
