BROUSSARD, La. — Firefighters in Lafayette Parish are responding to their third house fire in one week.

The fire on Clara Street in Broussard has since been brought under control.

On Friday, Broussard Mayor Ray Bourque posted that the structure could not be saved, but the houses on either side were protected and no one was hurt thanks to the efforts of local firefighters.
