The Carencro Fire Department says firefighters responded to a shop fire early Friday morning at a residence on Lantier Road in Carencro.
Officials say the fire was contained to the shop and did not effect the home. The fire occurred around 1:00 am.
The homeowners were present at the time of the fire but no one was injured.
The Scott and Lafayette fire departments assisted in putting out the fire.
The cause is currently under investigation.
