The Three O'clock Project is wrapping up their summer meal distributions in Acadiana.
Friday, August 7, will be the final day to receive a meal.
Executive Director Emily Chatelain says the organization has served more than 2.5 million meals since April.
"This has been a humbling experience for us at Three O'clock Project," she added. "The impact this has had on our communities - I know I cannot even begin to realize that."
The Free 7-day Grab & Go boxes will be distributed at the following locations:
Tuesday, August 4, (Lafayette)
- St. Julien Park, Broussard - 8:30 am to 10:30 am
- MLK Rec Center, Lafayette - 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Wednesday, August 5, (Acadia & Iberia)
- West End Park, New Iberia - 9:30 am to 11:00 am
- St. Joseph Catholic Church, Iota - 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Thursday, August 6, (St. Landry & Acadia)
- New Zion Baptist Church, Eunice - 8:30 am to 10:30 am
- Rice Festival Building, Crowley - 9:00 am to 11:00 am
- Opelousas Civic Center, Opelousas - 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Friday, August 7, (St. Landry & Acadia)
- Sunset Community Center, Sunset - 9:30 am to 11:00 am
- Frog Festival Pavilion, Rayne - 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
All meals are for children 18 and under. Kids must be present during meal pick up.
