LAFAYETTE, La. - Family and friends came together to congratulate a Lafayette woman on graduating college during a time of social distancing.
Robbie Heath's graduation ceremony was suppose to be held on May 16. She received a degree in elementary education from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
So, her family surprised her with a parade to celebrate Robbie's accomplishment.
The school held a virtual graduation today at 10:00 am. Afterward, everyone lined up outside of her home and passed by in a car parade.
The celebration was completed with cake, champagne, flowers and balloons.
Congratulations, Robbie!
