Faith House has canceled its fundraiser set for Saturday.

Faith House is extremely sad to inform the Acadiana community that “Stand Up For Faith House: Comedy for a Cause” scheduled for Saturday November 2nd, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Faith House has held many successful fundraisers in the past years and we were excited to be afforded such a unique opportunity to hold a comedy event. We are very grateful for the continued support of the Acadiana community in this less than favorable fundraising and economic climate.
Faith House has served the Acadiana community for 38 years. We will celebrate this accomplishment and we know this a testament to the unwavering support from our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and staff. Each year, Faith House provides more than 2500 women, men and children with crucial support services as they escape violent relationships. The funds raised through our annual events help us continue our mission of providing shelter, safety, empowerment, and advocacy to those survivors. Faith House will continue to provide these important lifesaving services survivors and their children.
We regret any inconvenience cancelling this event may cause for anyone, especially our sponsors. We look forward to more future successful fundraisers and are grateful for the continued support.
