The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office says a Duson man is in critical condition following a crash involving a motorcycle and a large truck Thursday evening.
The crash occurred around 7:20 pm on July 23, near the 6100 block of West Congress Street.
The Sheriff's Office says that an initial investigation found that the motorcycle operator, identified as 62-year-old William Yeager, crossed the center line and into the truck’s lane of travel.
Yeager sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
