Downtown Alive will be virtual for the Fall 2020 season.
The beloved outdoor concert series will be streamed online from the Acadiana Center for the Arts and will kick off this Friday with a concert from Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble.
DTA! will take place on Friday nights, with streaming beginning at 6 pm. Viewers can watch the virtual performances by tuning in to the Downtown Alive! Facebook page.
“We encourage the Acadiana community to make plans to join us online on Friday nights to enjoy virtual concerts — made possible with the support of Evangeline Maid — and help keep the music alive,” said Anita Begnaud, CEO of Downtown Alive! Organizer, Downtown Lafayette Unlimited. “Curley Taylor is an amazing entertainer who we are blessed to have in our community; he and his band Zydeco Trouble are sure to start a dance party in your living room or your neighborhood!”

During the week of Festival Acadien, there will be no DTA! show as we encourage the community to support the festival by tuning in to their fantastic music lineup.
