Brittany and Drew Brees are helping out communities in south Louisiana with funding to Second Harvest Food Bank.
In a post on Instagram, Drew Brees says that they will be funding a new kitchen for Second Harvest Food Bank with help from Catholic Charities of Acadiana.
Second Harvest thanked Brees and his wife for their contributions on Facebook.
The donation according to Brees and Second Harvest will be make it possible to prepare more than 15,000 meals a week for children, families, and seniors across Acadiana and South West Louisiana.
The kitchen will be in the Second Harvest Food Bank facility in Lafayette.
