The Daily Advertiser held its annual Thanksgiving Pre-sale today.
Starting at 3 p.m., people who wanted the Thursday edition of the paper, which includes sales inserts for Black Friday sales, could buy a paper from their vehicle at the newspaper office on Bertrand Drive.
Shoppers were lined up to buy a copy of the paper in preparation for Black Friday shopping.
Editions were $5 apiece.
"You can't get it in the stores yet. Really you have a chance to come out early before all the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving Day. And you have your paper with you so you can sit down with your family and plan where you want to go and the stores you want to visit," said Katie Johnston, Community Engagement Manager at the Daily Advertiser.
