The Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana hosted a father-daughter dance today.
Any girl in Acadiana with a disability was invited to attend, and bring her daddy.
The DSAA teamed up with Dream Castle for the event, which was open to all ages.
Molly Guidry, media coordinator for DSAA, said the theme was "Love you to the moon and back."
"Just to get the dads involved and get them networking, and the girls to have a great special time with their dad," she said of the aim of the event. "Dream Castle has been so wonderful in opening up this beautiful venue for us."
There was food and, of course, lots of music.
