The Lafayette Police Department is asking for help in identifying a man accused of breaking into an LCG building and driving off in a police car.
The incident happened early on Monday, November 16. He's accused of entering the LCG Transportation Center on East University and removing items from two buildings.
He also found a police car with the key inside, and drove off in it. Police say he rammed the exit gate of the transportation center. The car was damaged and was found a short distance away.
