COVID-19 testing, flu vaccinations taking place in Acadiana

Posted at 10:54 AM, Nov 17, 2020

COVID-19 testing and flu vaccinations will be conducted in a drive-thru setting this week at two locations in Acadiana.

Ochsner Lafayette General says that masks must be worn at all times and patients should remain in their vehicles. There should be no more than four people per vehicle.

Members of the community are asked to bring a valid ID and insurance card, if applicable. Ochsner says that there are no out-of-pocket costs for those seeking a test or vaccine, and no one will be turned away based on their insurance status.

COVID-19 testing is available to those of all ages; however, flu vaccines will only be administered to patients 18 and older in the drive-thru setting.

The sites will be in Lafayette and Arnaudville. See the schedule below:

Friday, November 20

Domingue Recreation Center
901 Mudd Ave.
8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Saturday, November 21

Arnaudville Community Center
291 Guidroz Street

Oschsner Lafayette General says that all site schedules are subject to change due to weather.
