Children in Lafayette will be able to ring in the new year a little early in the day.
On Tuesday, the Children's Museum of Acadiana will host its New Year's Eve Noon Carnival and Countdown.
Children will be able to enjoy carnival games while at the event which takes place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at their location on E. Congress Street in Downtown Lafayette.
At noon, a confetti blast will happen inside the building while the balloon drop will take place outside. Organizers say the annual event designed for children to "say good-bye to 2019 hello to 2020."
Admission is $8 per person and $3 for museum members. Tickets are required for carnival games.
