Cathedral Carmel School held its annual eighth grade graduation bicycle ride this morning in the Saints Street area.
KATC received several calls about the event, and we received this video as well:
Lafayette bike ride
The police escort is a Lafayette City Marshal, so we reached out to City Marshal Michael Hill. He told us that the marshals usually escort the annual bike-ride, and this year the school was told that all participants would have to engage in social distancing, and that all riders had to be masked.
