No one was injured when a house fire happened Sunday evening.
Carencro, Scott and Lafayette Fire Departments responded to the fire on Nanoke Lane at about 6:15 p.m.
One bedroom received heavy fire damage, and there was smoke damage in the rest of the home, said David Mouton, Carencro Fire Chief.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire, Chief Mouton says.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
