Carencro Firefighters extinguished a dumpster fire Wednesday evening.
Firefighters say that at 5:46 p.m., they were dispatched to the 600 block of Bay Meadow Lane for a large dumpster fire next to a residence.
The fire department was able to extinguished the fire before it extended to the residence which was under construction. Cause of the fire is unknown.
