This year's Candlelight Christmas event in Lafayette went virtual due to COVID-19.
Part of Merry & Bright Christmas, the free event was streamed live on Facebook and was put on by Downtown Lafayette Unlimited and First United Methodist Church of Lafayette.
Viewers tuned in to hear Christmas classics and religious stories.
Organizers say the event gave people the Christmas experience although they couldn't celebrate in person.
