Broussard Police Chief Brannon Decou now has some added responsibilities.

Decou was appointed to the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and the Administration of Criminal Justice.

He was appointed by Senate President Page Cortez. Decou brings to the board 19 years of experience as Chief of Police.

"Bringing that experience level to the board, I feel will be beneficial. Also being able to learn from the others that may have more experience or other ways of doing things that they may have experienced," said Decou.
