The Broussard Police Department and Magistrate Court is transitioning to an online payment portal for people to pay citation fines.
While the new program is being configured, they are asking people call 337-837-6259, in order to get the required information needed for the portal.
Once you have this information, you can go to the website at www.broussardpolice.com [broussardpolice.com] and click on the icon that says “pay your citations online”, from there you will be sent to www.broussardcitypayments.com [broussardcitypayments.com] (hosted by ncourt.com) automatically to fill out all the info needed.
"We are currently accepting payments online in this manner and soon the portal will be self-sufficient to where you will not have to call in for any information as it will be integrated with our current court software so you can find your info directly," a release from the city states. "We wanted to get this access out to the public now so that we can help people comply with the stay at home and social distancing orders, while making it convenient to pay."
