Two days after thousands of Love our Schools volunteers did some sprucing up, a celebration was held for teachers.
A breakfast rally for more than 600 faculty and staff of those eight schools was held Monday morning at Our Savior's Church in Broussard.
"This whole process has been absolutely phenomenal, all the volunteers coming out, the supporters giving donations, giving their time, it's just all been absolutely fantastic, and then today, starting our school year off with such an exciting breakfast, having everybody in one room, celebrating the beginning of the school year, we could not ask for anything better," said Renee White, principal of Lerosen Preparatory School.
