The GoGo Biblio Bookmobile Program in Lafayette is partnering with the Lafayette Parish School System to bring books to children this summer.

Six schools in the parish will host the Bookmobile, starting at Carencro Heights and Alice Boucher Elementary on Monday.

With hundreds of books to pick from, your child can get lots of books read before school starts in the fall.

"By the time we go back to school in the fall, the children will have been out of school for five months," explained Catherine Guillory with LPSS. "So we really encourage the kids to take the time and choose some books on topics they would enjoy and practice their reading."
