Barnes and Noble Booksellers will reopen tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
The store has been providing curbside service for some time, but that's not all the staff has been up to. They've been rearranging the store and making things safe for customers and booksellers.
If you're still not going into retail spaces, that curbside service is still available; you can order online or by telephoning the store.
"We’ve certainly missed serving your local bookstore needs and look forward to continuing to service you all while keeping everyone as safe as possible with our updated store guidelines," a post on the store's Facebook page states. "Here’s how we’re going to do it:
We are limiting store occupancy to help maintain store distancing and ask that everyone maintain a distance of 6 feet within our store.
We encourage you to browse our book selection, but ask that you place anything you don’t want on our designated reshelve tables. We’ll make sure to disinfect everything before shelving. 😊
Contactless payment is available.
Our Cafe will be open but limited to To Go only. Download our Cafe Mobile App today to make ordering even easier!
Curbside pickup will still be available.
These are just some of the changes we’re making to help keep everyone safe in our stores. And we can’t wait for you to see all the incredible changes that we’ve made to the store!"
Here's a post on the store's Facebook page, explaining some of the changes:
