Posted at 12:52 PM, Jan 08, 2020

The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra wants your photos of Acadiana life for use in an upcoming concert.

The ASO's "This is Us" Concert, planned for March 7, is a collaboration with Lafayette Travel and multimedia artist Nicholas Bardonnay of Westwater Arts.

During one of the selections, the program will feature images from local residents displayed on a 440-square-foot, three-panel, panoramic screen with single, double, and triple image combinations. All selected participants will receive a complimentary ticket to the show and artistic credit in the concert program.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, January 12, 2019, 11:59 p.m. The photo submission guidelines and form can be found here.

Submitted photos could be anything from a specific location like a landmark, restaurant, gallery, street, natural area or even something like your favorite statue or mural, local sports team, cajun dish, local musical performers, cultural festivals and local events. It could even be as simple as a picture of you with your friends, archival photos of Acadiana’s history, family portraits, or pictures from your past. The sky is the limit!

ASO is celebrating its 35th season this year of serving Lafayette by providing the community with educational and cultural experiences in music. For further information about ASO and our programs please click here.
