LAFAYETTE, La. — While you're staying home and social distancing this weekend, the Second Saturday ArtWalk in Downtown Lafayette is going virtual.
All day on Saturday, April 11, Downtown Lafayette will feature artwork and digital galleries from artists from across Acadiana.
And in honor of the annual Student Arts Expo, the Acadiana Center for the Arts will celebrate the artwork by Lafayette Parish students through a digital expo gallery.
You are also encouraged to share artwork your kids have created at home.
Maureen Dugas Foster, Director of Downtown Lafayette, says this is a opportunity that shouldn't be missed.
"A lot of people have always wanted to put their art in one of the galleries or businesses for ArtWalk, so now is your chance to showcase your work," she explained.
