Broussard Community Fair
As it has for more than 75 years, the Broussard Community Fair offer families some fun this weekend.
The fair is held annually on the Saturday and Sunday before Thanksgiving and features food, carnival rides, games, prizes, crafts, sweets, and more.
The event is the Sacred Heart of Jesus church fair, and some proceeds go to the church's school, St. Cecilia Catholic School.
"We have a lot of activities for the kids, adults also and it's a fundraiser. We make money for St. Cecilia School and Sacred Heart Parish Church, but we also build a lot of community and we have a lot of fun doing it," said George Fontenot, principal of St. Cecilia.
