Brian Schlesinger State Farm and the Duson Police and Scott Police Departments want to make sure all kids have a wonderful Christmas morning.

The agencies have teamed up to collect unwrapped toys for families in need. The departments say they were able to identify families by being hands-on with the community.

The 4th annual Toy Drive began on November 18 and will continue until December 13.

Desired items for the drive include books, barbie/ princess dolls, legos, baby dolls, educational toys, and stuffed animals, among others. A full list of items can be found below.

Toys can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • State Farm Agent Brian Schlesinger
  • Duson City Hall
  • Scott Police Department
  • Don's Specialty Meats
  • Nunu's Cajun Market
  • Landry's Donuts & Coffee
  • Cashway Pharmacy
  • Champagnes's supermarket
  • Scott Oaks Cleaners
  • The Coffee Depot
  • Uncle T's Oyster Bar

Gifts will be distributed to those identified families on Christmas Day at the police departments or by special delivery.
